Basildon Heritage is compiling a Roll of Honour for the service men and civillians killed in WW2.
There are very few 2nd WW war memorials in the New Town Area, If you family lived in the area covered by the New Town and lived, worked or were born in the area at the time of the WW2 and were either killed in action or as a result of enemy action please let us know the names. It is very important that we collect the names of thses people while ther are still family and freinds that remember them
