As Commercial (Financial) Controller of all whole goods & parts sold in the UK & Republic of Ireland, I was nominated by my Italian director to be the first point of contact with HRH to welcome her to our business, and introduce her to the multi-national directors responsible for sales & marketing.
BTW, it was not "The Ford Tractor Plant" then, as Ford sold out some years previously to FIAT, who then done deals with Case (tractors) & New Holland (Combine Harvesters, etc.), to become the global Tractor & Harvester giant CNH "Case New Holland". I retired early (in 1997) after 32 years service.
