The Avenue
With the release of the 1939 Register and the assisting web sites, mentioned below, I now wish to source any pictures / photos from the 1939 era of the mentioned avenue and surrounding area please.

A road “The Avenue” ran parallel with the then referred to Nevendon Road, (Timberlog Lane) and now East Mayne (A132). It was a short road that came off Cranes Farm Road heading southward to a dead end. I believe it either once did, or eventually did, join onto Nevendon Road by what was Cricketers Road.
