The National weather service is advising Tropical Storm Hanna will strengthen to Hurricane Hanna by late Saturday afternoon.
They are also reporting land fall on the south-central Texas coast will be early this evening.
Our area will continue to see rain bands associated with the storm, though nothing severe so far.
Please take note of how this storm has strengthened in the last 24 hours.
During hurricane season, storms in the Gulf of Mexico have and continue to be very unpredictable and can strengthen rapidly. Their tracks can also change radically and unexpectedly as well.
Please stay diligent during this time of the year.
