This past Saturday a function was held in the MUD 12 room upstairs.
An employee of MUD #12 was at the function and was exposed to COVID-19.
The employee did not quarantine.
The employee was at work Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday of this week.
On Thursday, the employee became symptomatic and was tested.
On Friday morning, a positive result was reported to me by the MUD #12 president.
If you came into the MUD #12 building this week or City Hall, you should begin to self-monitor.
I spoke to Dr. R. Kai with the GCHD today. She advised anyone coming into the building would have been exposed to COVID 19. She also said if a person were not in close proximity to the positive subject for a period of 10 to 15 minutes the chances of contracting it were low. The incubation period is from three to four days. If a person begins to exhibit symptoms, contact your doctor for the proper testing to be completed.
