Where is all the money going? Well I'm glad someone finally asked and we will see if someone finds out. I moved from BV on this issue and flood insurance. The fire dept fee was heavily lobbied to the community. Go back and read all the crap reasons they said they "needed" it. Still, houses burn down.

I think the money goes to the "volunteer" staff that sits on their ass at the fire station. The fire dept "employs" a bunch of other city firefighters that have an "extra job" in BV when they are not working at their other jobs. Pretty good gig and the people of BV bought it hook line and sinker when they passed this mandatory fee crap. I remember "pay your share". Well, people of BV, enjoy your fire dept as your house burns down !!!

If Alcorn is right, I'd like to see the inspection reports on the 41 draft stations.

This stuff is just priceless for a sheep being led community.
