Tommy, in your experience with the draft systems, have you ever heard that when the water in the canals is low, the draft system can not work well as there needs to be a minimum depth, otherwise it only sucks up mud? In a number of cases the north wind had blown the water out to below draftable levels, thus no water to fight the fires & heavy north wind to fan the flames!
