After frustration with GCHD saying shots are available on 1/7/21 and then calling to hear them say they are not giving shots this period, My sisteer suggested calling the BCHD (Brazoria County Health District) I got thru after 15 busy signals and they scheduled me the next day.
Also, UTMB is offering the vaccine if your pcp is a UTMB doctor. Check your My Chart for info or you can call your PCP and ask for it if you are 65 or older or if you have a qualifying underlying health issue such as type 2 diabetes.
My friend had an appt at UTMB for pain in her hand last week and they offered her the vaccine right then and there which she took.
