My brother Doug Day (Redfish) and I just wanted to let BV know about our Dad’s recent passing on Jan. 3, 2021 due to Covid 19 related complications. Our folks retired to BV and lived happily on Blue Heron for many years until he moved to Independent Living. He was a great man, a proud Korean War Veteran and retired from Houston Light & Power after 46 years. A private family only grave-site service will be held at Houston National Cemetery with full military honors on Jan. 29, 2021. Our family proudly supports Warrior Weekend-BV and in lieu of flowers donations in his honor can be made to Warrior Weekend-BV c/o Julie Mims...thank you!
