Neighbors who hate

Are your neighbors haters? My wife and I bought a house in Bayou Vista over a year ago. It was brought to our attention by "the close by" unhappy neighbors that the house build had caused some unpleasant conditions while being built, ie..such as mud on the road. This was 100% out of our control since we did not own the land or the house while it was being built. Instead this was a spec home built by a Bayou Vista Builder,(we bought the house once it was built using a Realtor). These particular neighbors have held a relentless grudge over our heads to this day that somehow the dirt, mud on the road was somehow our fault,(a false accusation). Why they never approached the Builder about this issue is a mystery. Going forward; Monday night we were approached in our own driveway by one of these neighbors who verbally assaulted my wife and I using every possible profane word even to the point of calling my amazing wife of 37 yrs of marriage the "C**t word more than 10x. This heinous verbal assault happened bc I simply requested that that his construction truck be moved from blocking our driveway so that we could simply park our car in our own driveway. A logical simple request. Guess what, the neighbor still brought up the mud from a year ago as he threatened to physically rip my head off, challenging me to fight him. Maybe a lobotomy or medicine would help him? Extreme bi-polarness lurking or just plain Haters? Hopefully the answer is he is simply a Hater. The good news is that hating is fixable since its a conscious choice to hate. This incident is only the tip of an iceberg of what this neighbor has done to my family. I've heard he relentlessly talks behind our back. I wish these neighbors would get a life. They are obsessed with us. I've been told they are truly miserable people by others. So if you don't have neighbors like these then count your many blessings. There isn't a lot of space between neighbors in homes on the canals, so try your hardest to be kind even to the undeserved haters. This is a very hard thing to do; To pray for your enemies. On the other hand, fortunately I can honestly say that 99.9% of the people in Bayou Vista are friendly. We have made some great friendships here. Since we've experienced first hand what ugliness can feel like concerning rude neighbors,we have made it our mission to welcome new neighbors with great kindness. I hope you do the same.
