Thank you Jeff Campbell, City Council & mayor for naming the town festival after Joe. We moved to BV in 1983 & raised our girls, Christi & Kinsey, here. Joe started the fishing tournament mainly so parents would take their kids fishing. He wanted it to be free for kids to fish with lots of prizes in hopes that all kids would have a love for fishing.
