We've had AT&T Uverse for over five (5) years and have found the signal and service almost excellent. Every time I loose the signal all I've had to do was reboot by holding the power button in for about 10 seconds and wait for the system to do it's thing. Since the fiber has been in BV the internet speed is superb. I had Comcast several years ago and I suppose they have improved but I certainly believe you'll be more pleased with AT&T
