The Salt water garden club (SWGC) was told by The mayor that there would be no Trick or Trunk this year, citing Covid issues. As an ALTERNATIVE, the SWGC decided to offer a “Plan B”; Halloween festival at the MUD 12 Park. However, if the city does decide to have Trick or Trunk in the city parking lot, the SWGC would be delighted, as always, to participate in this fun event which is put on for all kids in our area.We look forward to Trick or Trunk each year and always have such a good time with the kids! The SWGC will be judging a House in each of the three sections of our community: bayou Vista, original Bayou Vista and Omega Bay. As a reminder to all members please bring candy for trick-or-treating, to our next meeting on October 12. If you have any questions about this event, please contact me.
