Im suprised by the number of folks I talk to that dont know or forgot the following.

In Texas the flounder fishery will be closed from Nov 1- Dec 15 starting in 2021. It will be closed to all forms of harvest recreational and commercial. I AM NOT a game warden just dont want anyone to get caught uninformed.

I suppose one could still catch and release to their hearts content
