TRAFFIC ALERT: TxDOT to close FM 1765 and Tiki Island exits from I-45 NB
In an update sent late Tuesday night, the Texas Department of Public Safety announced two I-45 exit closures for Wednessay (8/17/2022).
The exit to FM 1765 from Interstate 45 northbound will be closed from 9 AM to 3 PM on Wednesday.
Motorists can take the next available exit and take I-45 South to the FM 1765 exit.
The exit to Tiki Island Drive from I-45 northbound will be closed from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Motorists coming from Galveston and need to get to Tiki Island should continue north and take the exit for Bayou Vista, U-turn and head south on I-45.
