As we are warming up, burst pipes are becoming a problem, for residents both at home and away today. The Bayou Vista Vol. Fire Dept. posted this on facebook less than an hour ago:

From the Bayou vista Fd.if you notice water running from a house. Please call Gcso dispatch at 4097662322 option #2 and tell them you need Fd to come by and shut water off.Dispatch will tone us and get us on the way.If person on duty is not in office they will not here non emergency number.Please don't just post a pucture on Facebook and not give us a call
