A developing low pressure system and a cold front are passing through the area.
This will produce widespread rain showers along with embedded thunderstorms. On average, expect 1-2" of rainfall with localized 3-4" possible.
Isolated strong to severe storms are possible with damaging winds and hail the primary threats. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out closer to the coast.
