Gulf Freeway closures in League City/Webster allow for sign bridge installation

The Gulf Freeway in League City and Webster will have total closures including one that will close the northbound freeway.

These closures are to allow for the installation of a sign bridge that holds freeway signs.

There will be a total closure of northbound Interstate 45 between FM 518 and NASA Road 1 from 6 AM Saturday, July 22 through 12 PM Sunday, July 23. Traffic will exit northbound I-45 using the exit ramp to NASA Road 1 and continue on the feeder, reentering northbound I-45 using the entrance ramp from FM 528.

There will be a total closure of the southbound I-45 entrance ramp from Bay Area Boulevard from 6 AM Saturday, July 22 through 12 PM Sunday, July 23. Traffic will exit southbound I-45 using the exit ramp to FM 528 and continue on the feeder, reentering southbound I-45 using the entrance ramp from NASA Road 1.

There will be a total closure of the northbound entrance ramp from FM 518 from 6 AM Saturday, July 22 through 12 PM Sunday, July 23. Traffic will enter northbound I-45 using the entrance ramp from FM 528.

There will be a total closure of the southbound I-45 exit ramp to FM 518 from 6 AM Saturday, July 22 through 12 PM Sunday, July 23. Traffic will exit southbound I-45 using the exit ramp to FM 528 and continue on the southbound feeder towards FM 518.
