Unfortunately, there has been another water valve break on Ling. Currently, the East side of Ling is without water. The crew is aware and will make repairs as soon as possible.
It will be necessary to shut the water off from Ling to Old Bayou Vista while work is being done. The repairs could take several hours, so please prepare now for the loss of water.

There also seems to be some air in the system, so it is being flushed.

A USEIRIS message has been sent to Ling residents, but another message will be sent to all affected residents about 30-45 minutes before water is shut off.

With the installation of isolation valve’s completed last week there should be no loss of water for residents from Pompano to Blue Heron.
