LEAGUE CITY

Three southbound lanes on Interstate 45 will be closed in League City beginning Friday, officials said.

Only southbound I-45 between state Highway 96 and FM 646 will have multiple lanes closed from 9 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday, according to the Texas Department of Transportation website.

Drivers traveling south through League City should detour on state Highway 3, officials said.
