I couldn't agree more. That is what the lever on the left side of the steering column is for; to turn on your direction light when your a GOING, not after you do, turn a corner, lane change, exit a freeway or any roadway for that matter. When you don't exercise this COMMON COURTESY you contribute directly to a rapidly developing hazardous driving condition. Lack of the courtesy may even generate RAGE when a person is at a total loss trying to watch you and figure out what you are going to do so they can compensate for your unsafe and unlawful driving. DONOT be so non-compliant as to contribute to someone elses DEATH!
