MUD 12: UPDATE: BONITA, REDFISH, SAILFISH & BLUE HERON RESIDENTS
As was stated in yesterday’s post, the remaining isolation cutoff valves for Redfish, Sailfish, Blue Heron and including Bonita are designated to be installed on Wednesday. On a positive note, the unexpected leaks on Bonita and Redfish did allow the crew to install two of the remaining valves in the District.
The crew anticipates starting Wednesday morning at 8:00 AM and water will be cutoff most of the day. So, early planning to store water is recommended and encouraged. Yes, all residents on these specifically listed streets will be required to “Boil Water” upon completion of the installation of the valves.
However, this is a major project and by completing the installation of isolation cutoff valves throughout the District it will allow for work or repairs to be done without total disruption to the entire water system and District.
Currently, all residents on the listed streets are still required to “Boil Water” until further notice.
Everyone’s support and understanding is greatly appreciated!
