Back in the 60's, that was how they always sprayed. It was before you could have boathouses, so they had more space. They would fly LOWER than your porch/deck. When you looked across at them, they would sometimes wave back, before climbing upward to clear the phone lines along the RR tracks. I wish I could find my old 8 mm films of that. I had forgotten about that.
