Notice is hereby given of a Special Called Meeting of the Bayou Vista City Council to Canvass the
election results and swear in newly elected city officials. This Special Called Meeting will be held on May 13, 2025, at 6:30 pm at the MUD #12 Reception Hall, 2929 HWY 6, Bayou Vista, Texas. concerning
the following items:

5. Consideration and possible action to approve resolution number 2025-04R, a resolution and
Order Canvassing the Returns and Declaring the Results of a City Special Election – Proposition
A and the City Officer’s General Election of the City of Bayou Vista, Texas held on May 3, 2025.

6. Presentation of Appreciation Plaque to Alderman Carrie Wortham.

7. Present the Certificate of Election, Complete Statement of Officer, and Administer the
Oath of Office to Pat Pizzo - Alderman Position 2, Alderman Stan Caplan, Position 3, and Andy
McCloskey Position 4, declared as duly elected in the May 3, 2025, General Election by
Ordinance 2025 -01 and approved by the City Council, at the Regular Meeting on January 29,
2025.
