Our taxes are going up and only one resident went to the budget meeting . When I spoke to a couple of aldermen, they thought that we must think the budget is fine and did are not plan on making many changes. Our current tax rate is $0.422773, proposes rate is $0.442773.
Please contact the aldermen and attend this meeting tomorrow evening. With insurance costs rising, tax increases are not acceptable at this rate. See you tomorrow evening.
