Sad that the City chose to have a special meeting on the same day as the first Garden Club meeting of the season. So many other days in September with nothing going on. Extremely disappointing scheduling.
Why increase the tax rate? With many new houses in Bayou Vista, and higher prices, there is already additional income coming in to the city coffers.
