Bayou Vista, Texas, became a city when it officially incorporated on January 19, 1985. This year was the 40th anniversary of our incorporation but due to the chaos, no celebration was held.

I wish the very best for our new government members and the department heads who will lead us forward. I hope we can see the joy in the faces of the residents in 1985 in the faces and attitudes of our current residents.
The future of our city is in the hands of all of us working together for our betterment.
