MUD 12 Meeting Regarding Bonds

I attended the MUD meeting tonight regarding the bonds that will be up on the next election.



These bond proposals are for

A) Authorization to fund future Water Utility Projects

B ) Ability to refinance bonds in the future



These bond proposals are extremely important for the water utility plant operation and ARE NOT GOING to raise taxes for residents.



Please please please get out and vote YES for these bonds! We need this work done to ensure proper utility functions for futures to come!



Just some things that these bonds will do:



•Generators to be added to power the whole plant and not just sections during storms and power outages



•Redo existing bulkheads behind the plant with concrete for reinforcement



•Increased Capacity to handle all residents being home at once using water and sewer with no backups- like the mishaps during COVID
