Thank you, Eric. I hate to think I have to be on every public media site, every Bayou Vista official and private site, Savvy Citizen encouraged by mayor and city council as well as City Hall, plus individual street sites, to stay abreast of what is happening officially and privately in the government and privately in the Council, on the streets and in the Coummunity. I thought by his own claim in his campaign for election as Mayor that we would elect a committed, law abiding citizen with a total commitment to honesty and transparancy as a person as well as a mayor of Bayou Vista. Doesn't sound like this is at all true. Ooops, I'm jumping to a conclusion since I am judging from the information by Eric Moeller, who is my neighbor, our MUD #12 executive and from my judgment an honest forthright citizen of Bayou Vista who stuck his neck out to let us know what he knows about the subject of a new real estate purchase by the City of Bayou Vista City Council without official knowledge to the resident propery owners of the City of Bayou Vista, a purchase on its' face seems illegal. Further by their actions (secrecy and executive sessions) seems illegal to at least one if not more city councilman. (Where's the City attorney?) Praise the Lord it appears that there is at least one official, the AG General Ken Paxton, in the great State of Texas who is concerned ABOUT ILLEGAL ACTIONS BY TEXAS CITIES BY RAISING TAXES AFTER THEY FAILED TO BE TRANSPARENT WITH TAXPAYERS. I think it is high time we citizens of Bayou Vista try to get the Attorney General of Texas' attention to what appears to be "illegally raising taxes" before" the City acts to illegally raise taxes. Unfortunately I am out of state for a few days but I will personally be trying my best to alert the Attorney General to this illegal action by the Mayor and City Council of Bayou Vista, Texas.
