We live on Marlin and are VERY concerned about the recent water testing results.
I am an emergency physician. Waterborne illness from this type of water colonization is a huge problem.
I MUST CAUTION ANYONE about getting in the water AT ALL with the high coliform and bacterial levels-
BUT ABSOLUTELY NO ONE with the following should get in the water or eat anything from it due to very high risk of bad outcomes and complications:
-anyone with any open sores ***anywhere*** on the body
-anyone with any kind of liver disease
-anyone with cancer or on chemotherapy
-any unvaccinated people
-any pregnant women
-kids under age 12 (too high risk with nose/mouth exposures)
Everyone, even baseline healthy, is at risk for infectious diarrhea or colitis, skin and airway/upper respiratory complications.
Be very careful. Please.
I’m happy to talk to anyone and send links or more data if you’d like more information.
