Picture of Lost Dog in Bayou Vista

Please help find this sweet dog its home. Last seen on Pompano but has been running scared since this afternoon.

I actually saw this dog yesterday afternoon running along the wetlands at mile marker 5 yesterday and called Animal Control. They said they’d received several calls in the recent days about it. It appears they did not follow up, and based on where I saw the dog, it’s difficult to know where it came from or how long it’s been on the go. If it’s spotted again, a follow up call could help at least get it off the streets? Just a thought.

I was able to find this dog about 7pm last evening on Pompano. She had run frantically lost past my house around 6pm on Blue Heron and had previously been spotted on Redfish. I was able to feed and pet this very sweet, gentle, beautiful young dog but it was to skittish to catch. Searched again this morning and this evening in Bayou Vista, Omega Bay, Hwy 6 toward Hitchcock, Hwy 3 toward LaMarque and the feeder road toward Tiki but I did not find. If someone sees this sweet dog or knows where he/she is please call and I will try to get him/her again and find a home. I would keep but I already have two dogs. Thanks in advance. Glad you have her trust. So many of us have been trying to get her so safety with no success. Weather is turning colder and she needs shelter. Please post any supplies or assistance that will help corral her.
