I had new Rollac hurricane shutters installed yesterday. I was told that the shutters that came with my house were hurricane proof but they require a bit more mechanical work than I can handle. They appear to me to be brand new. Has a metal groove at the top and bottom with heavy plastic planks. Bolts in place (I have hardware). Covers about 20-25 foot of windows. $ 200.
