The article in the Galveston (no longer Daily) New gave an explanation of the BIRDS induced electric power outage is sufficient for the regions and households, it identified, that had been affected.
Now can it be explained why there were as many as 5 rapid power losses and recoveries (surges) that happened in Bayou Vista at the same time as the report explains. Those multiple surges created for me LED motion detection bulbs and units unrecoverable damage. The Generac backup power unit of my neighbor was rapidly surged into a condition where they failed to activate.
