$950,000 emergency generator on a report requesting $10million less than 10 pages long? ??

a 250kva generator is around $50k, transfer switch and installation say $100K. Can't see it being over $200k unless the engineer is trying to build a building to put it in.

What is the kva of the current one, run-time hours, how old?

The generator will run the entire plant after a hurricane or other major disaster. MUD 12 attempted to go through a grant with Gal.Co. and it did not offer a generator that keep us in drinking water and sewage treatment during a re-build as happened after Ike and Alicia.

NO generator should cost that much. Also all the numbers look like “off the cuff” everyone had a fit over $125,000 before. Now it’s $950,000…. ????? SLUSH FUND!!!!
