?? Doesn’t every registered Bayou Vista resident have the right and responsibility to vote? I’m not trying to start a keyboard argument but I do not understand your statement.

Sounds like several hundred homeowners shoulda taken their golf cart to the mud building and invested 5 minutes into the election process. No whining now. The opportunity to express opinion was formally offered in the ballot box

I couldn't agree more Tommy. Being a part of caring about what the City, County, Utility District, State and National government does for the residents and citizens requires a great deal of effort. Mostly before "action" is taken by the governing body. This prevents the action from being upsetting. Part of the effort/work before action is the promotion ones opinion. I didn't see much give and take before the election on the MUD bond issue. There WAS though a very informative board meeting on the bond issue. With all due respect I think that is where this discussion of "snuck" should have taken place. If satisfactory answers were not provided at that time effort should have been made ahead of the election to promote A larger number of voters to exercise their obligation of expressing themselves at the BALLOT BOX. Every BV registered voter should VOTE at every election. If you don't shame of you. Just some thoughts for reflection and future action.
