After a county wide meeting with Emergency Management Coordinators I am recommending the following: The national weather service advised precipitation will end this afternoon. Water on the ground will freeze and stay frozen until Thursday afternoon. We will be experiencing high winds beginning tonight which will cause feel like temps to be very dangerous. Please remember the 4P's - PEOPLE, PLANTS, PETS AND PIPES. If you must be out remember to layer your clothing. TxDOT has advised NO ROAD CLOSURES are planned at this time. If things change, I will advise ASAP.
