"Discuss and consider approving Web based utility billing to replace in-house utility billing..." was a discussion item on the February MUD 12 Agenda.
The web based billing will be based in Cypress. Water customers will be referred to them for all billing questions and the local office staff will not be able to assist us.
Please attend the MUD 12 Board of Directors meeting at 03/18/24 at 6:00 p. m. to offer your comments on this item and to preserve the local service that is so convenient for all answers to our billing questions.
This information has not been widely known as meetings are not regularly filmed and the average attendance is only a couple of residents.
I feel that the moving of billing services will lead to shrinking our local office staff to one person and very little local involvement of MUD 12 with those that they serve.
