I see there is quite a bit of concern, and I don’t want to stop anyone from doing major preparations for the storm, but make sure that you check multiple sources for your weather predictions, as panic is not a healthy state to be in. I am still awaiting Hurricane Hal’s predictions, but in the meantime, I looked to Eric Berger of Space City Weather. He is currently predicting that the storm is heading along Texas coast, but turning northeast towards Louisiana. He states we’re “likely to see tides elevated 1 or 3 feet above normal levels as the storm passes on Tuesday night and Wednesday. Winds will also be elevated during this time period, especially on Wednesday morning. Galveston Island could briefly see tropical-storm force winds”. https://spacecityweather.com/tropical-storm-likely-to.../...
