I moved here 2 years ago and absolutely in love with this community. I have had, however, some recent bad experiences with AT&T Fiber solicitors that I wanted to share with everyone to bring awareness.
A few weeks ago I was on my back patio on an important work call; I am a fully remote employee and if I don't have to be on camera I enjoy being outside while I'm working. In any event, a female AT&T solicitor must have knocked on my door, gotten no response, heard me outside and decided to let herself in. Upon noticing her interrupting me while I was on a call, she continued to aggressively try to give me her sales pitch before finally leaving.
Today I had a knock on my door from 2 male AT&T solicitors. As soon as I saw it was them, I said no thank you, I'm not interested. They kept pushing and after I repeated myself 3 times that I wasn't interested they said "you don't even know what we're selling how can you say you're not interested!" I then told them what happened a few weeks ago and that their sales practices were highly inappropriate.
I wanted to a) bring awareness to the community that this is going on right now and b) am curious as to whether or not any of you have had similar situations happen. If so, please let me know.
Thanks for reading and I hope all of you have a wonderful rest of your day!
