A big thank to Mayor Danny Rambin and the City Council for organizing the first celebration of the 4th of July in the 22 years I have lived in Bayou Vista.
So many fun activities for citizens big and small.
Free hot dogs, popcorn and more.
The highlight of the day was the cardboard boat races! So creative!
The whole city council was out there volunteering and helping with the activities.
Nice to see so many little ones at the playground, plus a big crowd swimming in the pool.
It is my opinion that we had a very successful celebration.
