That's the reason for the long queues. You start off full of piss and wind and pumped up with righteous four letter indignation, ready to sort them out, and by the time anyone answers the first thing they ask is whether you need treatment for depression. And they've charged you a fortune for the privilege. That's the problem with trying to deal with large amorphous organisations, it's not a level playing field. The consequence for you 'getting it wrong' are always greater than when they cock up. It was covered very well in some legal drama I saw on tv some time back. Two lawyers discussing a case:
"He lied to you"
"Yes, and he's going to pay for it with a long prison sentence'
"But you lied to him"
"A necessary tactic to get a confession"
