Nothing wrong with old. I have a very well used and abused WW2 era 5" (that means it will almost cope with 10"dia) Southbend.
Always being amazed with the accuracy it still gives.
As for prices, never been cheaper. They can hardly give them away.
That incredible classic one I put up on here weeks ago has only just gone.
I thought the other day with your tappet block spanner. So easy to make if you had a lathe.
