I came across one such pr*ck when, driving, with my wife in the car on Portsdown Hill just above Portsmouth. I exited the roundabout at the top heading for Southwick (home of the DDay Map room) and the road opens up from 40 to 60 I accelerated at a reasonable pace and there was a modern traillee monkey behind. Even though he could see I wasn't hanging around he just had to blast past me. No problem, except less than 100 yds was the turning into ASWE (one of the naval research establishments) and, you guessed it, that's where he was going. He had to hit the brakes that hard, his rear locked up and he snaked quite a bit but didn't come off.
Now, my pace wouldn't have given him the impression that I was goading him etc.
Even my wife agreed he probably felt like a right tosser!
