It's getting way too common, and unworthy of us, to claim that someone is "AFRAID" of something about which I have a different opinion than you do.
All of the various modern Social Justice Warrior "-phobia"s to imply that you "fear" something ... that's just a way of shutting down discussion.
I don't buy Chinese because I don't want to enrich a communist slave regime, so that makes me "xenophobic".
I don't want a mentally ill man in a sundress to be able to follow my granddaughter into a ladies room to watch her pee, so that makes me "transphobic".
And I don't use Facebook because, even though there are a lot of potentially useful functions about it, I don't want to turn Zuckerberg from a billionaire into a trillionaire. Do you really not understand how he makes all that money, based on no more than you actually pay him? In addition, I don't support Facebook's politics, their censorship policies, and I don't want to be associated with the constant stupidity that I see going on there.
If you don't mind all that, by all means feel free to use it all that you like. But don't dismiss other thoughtful, principled people who don't share your likes and dislikes as "Fearful" or "Afraid" ....
