I once saw a photo of an Ossa 750 project road bike taken at a motorcycle show (logic suggests that it was in Spain) from the late 1970s/early 1980s and it looked magnificent. Whether it was actually road tested is another matter altogether.
As regards the LE - Velocette's best-selling machine, probably because of the UK constabulary's predilection for them - had their production not preceded the Beeching era then I would have been convinced that they were constructed from discarded railway bridges. I have a sneaking fondness for the Vogue, though. Saw one at Rivvy with a 90 cc Honda engine and the owner seemed quite happy with it.
