A "Case" may mean nothing. Only a fraction of "cases" even show any symptoms; a fraction of that get sick; and a little fraction of that actually die from it.
The "News" infotainment is reporting that 190,000 people in the US have "died from COVID". What they actually mean is that about 10,000 people (out of 320,000,000) have died OF COVID without actually being killed by something else; the other 180,000 already had a co-morbidity that would very likely have killed them anyway.
And Sturgis is a good example. As far as we know, there is NO death spike post-Sturgis, which makes it a prime example of why we should just bag all this silly crap and get back to life ....
