I find it very easy to work on and i suppose that it is built for amateur repairs in the caribbean etc.
You do need a rattle spanner for a nut on the variator and a puller for the other side alternator nut.
I think the metal is pretty good and no stripped threads anywhere. All shafts in the engine are ball races abd the camshaft bearings are massive for such a tiny shaft.
Mike, the crank threads are OK so they might be Ford cranks.
About Wednesday, the parts will arrive ready for building back up.
