How many of us here have actually had full blown flu? It really is debilitating. I can only remember having it as a child. Most people tell everybody they've got flu when in fact they only have a cold with a bit of a headache and slight temperatures snotty nose and sore throat. That's a walk in the park compared to respiratory problems.
As someone who used to suffer from Asthma I know what it's like to fight for breath I can probably handle it for a day or two at most but the exhaustion that comes with it is awful and not something you would wish on anyone.
I live in a hot spot, I know of two couples that have had CV-19 I knew somebody who died from it locally, my grand daughter has tested positive too
also my daughter and son in law both had it in the first wave.
So that's 7 People I know of that have had this disease, given that I don't socialise a great deal, hardly ever go to a pub or restaurant tells me that the virus is very much rampant and burying your head in the sand or denying it won't make it go away.
I don't wish it on anybody but I do wish those that don't seem to think that it's going to affect them and seem to think it's some kind of political hype would respect those that think otherwise. Why ruin an economy deliberately by shutting everything down for no reason?
Those that aren't prepared to take and heed advice should all piss off to a country that will have them, I'm sure Don T would welcome them.
