Yep.

At 275 pounds, my morning fasting blood sugar (I have a tester) was running about 140 ( <90 is normal), and my A1C level was about 9 ( <5.9 is normal), with 2000 mg Metformin daily.

At 195 pounds, morning blood sugar is 90 - 100, and my last A1C was 5.4 on 500 mg Metformin. I've since dropped the last of the Metformin, and the numbers are staying normal.

Don't make your body work harder than it has to to keep you here! Give it a little help anyhow, even if you have pills to boost it ...
