I was fed up with tangled leads on the battery chargers so bought a Noco 1 unit that plugs into a socket. Comes with the socket fitted to the bikes.
These are smart chargers and will charge all battery types including lithium. They will also force charge a completely flat battery. I notice the LIDL smart charger will not recognise a flat battery is connected at all so still good for topping up or maintenance.
Designed in the USA and made in China. They are spashproof and have no air vents. I paid 30 quid with a ebay discount but normally 35 quid. They are the 1 amp version but larger ones cost a lot more. These seem to beat the more expensive optimate 4 i also use. Very compact unit and barely gets warm when left on. Have a look on ebay. I bought from Demon tweaks but many sellers of these.
